Reiki is an ancient Japanese Energy Healing technique that promotes relaxation and stress relief while healing on multiple levels:
Emotional, Physical, and Mental.

How can Reiki help you today?

Reiki is an energy healing technique that works holistically: physically, mentally, and emotionally to harmonize and balance the whole person. It originated in Japan in the early 20th century and was developed by Mikao Usui. The term "Reiki" comes from the Japanese words "rei" (universal) and "ki" (life energy).

Reiki stimulates the body's own natural healing process, allowing space for the body and mind to heal. Our body is more likely to fight illness, infection, and disease when we are relaxed, positive, and de-stressed. Reiki can be done in person by the practitioner lightly placing their hands either on or just above the client's body, or can be sent over distance transcending time and space.

Spiritual in nature, Reiki is not a religion, nor will it infringe on anyone's beliefs or personal values. The intention is to create deep relaxation, relieve stress and anxiety, speed healing, reduce pain, heal past and present trauma, as well as decrease other symptoms and issues

the client may be experiencing.

Key Concepts of Reiki:

  • Energy Healing: Reiki practitioners channel universal life energy into a person to promote healing and balance. This energy flows through the practitioner's hands and into the recipient's body.

  • Healing Process: During a Reiki session, the recipient typically lies down or sits comfortably. The practitioner places their hands lightly on or just above specific areas of the body, often following a set sequence. The goal is to facilitate the flow of energy to help reduce stress, promote relaxation, and support the body's natural healing processes.

  • Holistic Approach: Reiki is considered a holistic practice, meaning it aims to address the whole person, including physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects.

  • Non-Invasive and Gentle: Reiki is non-invasive and gentle, making it suitable for people of all ages and conditions. It is often used alongside other medical treatments to help enhance overall well-being.

Benefits and Uses:

  • Stress Reduction: Reiki is commonly used to reduce stress and promote relaxation.

  • Pain Management: Some people use Reiki to help manage pain and discomfort.

  • Emotional Healing: It can support emotional healing and help with issues like anxiety, trauma, depression, and grief.

  • Enhanced Well-Being: Many people report a general sense of improved well-being after receiving Reiki.
